Vera Barac’s Serbian lunch
Vera and a group of pensioners got together at their local church for a delicious traditional Serbian meal and a chat.
“I wanted to give back to the amazing organisation who has helped enhance the lives of many people just like my granddaughter who has profound hearing loss.”
They had a very special meal and raised $500 to support people with hearing or vision loss.
Sofi and Sam’s movie night
Sam and Sofi became close friends after meeting and realising they had a special bond. Both their daughters have hearing loss, and have been supported by NextSense since their diagnoses. They had three aims for their movie night, to raise awareness, raise funds and to make sure their guests felt spoilt!
